I offer master classes in my studio to artists with all levels of expertise.
Whether you are a novice, a professional artist seeking technical guidance for a specific project, or someone wanting to refine their technical and artistic skills, we can work together to meet your needs. Each session is a combination of demonstrations and independent work time tailored to your needs. I offer a space for exploration and open-mindedness where I will be available to answer questions and offer guidance.

In addition to private teaching sessions, Diane offers workshops at Maine Media Workshop+ College in Rockport, Maine. For over twenty years she was an artist-in-residence at schools, libraries, and museums throughout Maine with the Maine Touring Artist Program of the Maine Arts Commission. Other teaching experience was with and the Maine Art Education Association at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Deer Isle, Maine. For the past twenty years, Diane has been conducting private painting workshops primarily in encaustics in her studio in Maine. She has exhibited extensively throughout New England in many solo and group exhibits. As an active member of New England Wax, she participated in many of their juried encaustic exhibits and attended the International Encaustic Conference for several years.
Diane received a B.F.A. from the University of Connecticut, Storrs, Connecticut and also studied at Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, New York. She has attended Haystack Mountain School of Crafts numerous times, as well as Maine College of Art and R & F Paints in Kingston, N.Y.
